Electric Squeeze Activity
This tabletop demonstration explores piezoelectricity, its applications and how it is being used in nanotechnology-related research. During the program, visitors interact with models of piezoelectric materials, consumer products that utilize piezoelectricity and make sparks with a piezoelectric barbeque lighter!
